I’m a working sonographer and department supervisor with three decades of experience across facilities ranging from large tertiary care hospitals to small private practices. Most of that time has been spent scanning, training staff, standardizing exam protocols, and fixing the everyday workflow problems that slow labs down or create inconsistency. I’ve been on both sides of the desk — performing the exams and managing the department — so I know what looks good on paper versus what actually works when the schedule is full and the machines are aging.
